Here is a great example of a player’s Selmer Super tenor. These are some of the best playing and sounding vintage horns. They have the fatness of a Conn, with the punch and response of an 80k Selmer Mark VI.
This tenor has approximately 60% lacquer left. It was re-lacquered some time ago. The engraving is still there, just a little thin a few of the contact spots. There were a few very minor dings in the back of the body tube and the bottom bow. The pads are in good condition. We will go through the horn and give it a complete setup before it leaves the shop.
