Barnard Instrument Repair accepts credit cards (Master Card, Visa, Discover, and American Express). We also gladly accept personal checks, cashier’s checks and wire transfers. For all check purchases, the check must clear our bank before we will ship your order. Contact us if you prefer to use PayPal.
We are pleased to offer Avvance financing on purchases of $300 or more. Visit the Avvance website where you’ll be able to fill out a form and see if their process makes sense for you.
Returns and Refund Policies
I stand behind our work and our products we sell. If you are unhappy with your purchase, or if it’s just not what you are looking for, you have five days to return it. The five-day trial starts the day you receive the instrument. If you choose to return the item, you need to email the shop for a return label within the five-day trial. All returns must be packed the same way you received the item. Items not properly packed are subject to additional fees or no refund if damaged. Once the horn is returned, we will refund your money minus the 10% restocking fee. This fee will include shipping charges, processing fees, and time to clean and sanitize the instrument.
Domestic Shipping
We will package your horn and protect it as if it were our own. We can ship Fed Ex, USPS, or UPS depending upon your preference and time frame. Baritone saxophone shipping prices are determined on an individual basis.
International Shipping

Warranties
Mechanical overhauls, mechanical restorations, and all instrument sales will come with a 1-year warranty on parts and labor due to normal wear and tear. The warranty will not include damage caused by misuse or neglect. Set ups on used or new horns purchased from somewhere other than Barnard Instrument Repair will have a 6 month warranty on parts and labor for normal wear and tear. The warranty will not cover damage caused by misuse or neglect.
Out-of-Stock
Due to high demand, you may run into an item that is temporarily out of stock. If an item that you chose is out-of-stock, you will be contacted to discuss your options.
