This is a beautiful, original silver plated Selmer Super Balanced Action tenor saxophone, made in 1949. This horn features European engraving and 95+% original plating. It recently went through our shop and the padding was looked over and adjusted by Aaron Barnard. The bell was also soldered to the body tube giving it a much more resonant sound. This horn has that signature smooth SBA Tenor sound and is extremely free blowing. This rich free blowing sound is the sound that players are always looking for. Walt Johnson case included.
