Go ahead… Cycle through those photos one more time. It’s hard to believe—I know. An early five-digit Mark VI in this good of condition?? It HAS to be a relacquer… Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but this is an 99% original lacquer, five-digit Mark VI tenor in incredible condition. The horn had only one owner (who took fantastic care of it, as you can see) during its lifespan and is now ready to find a new home. It has almost all original pads and Tonex resonators and is only missing a bit of lacquer on the palm key touches and the bottom of the bell (where a stand rubbed into the lacquer).
This is in decent playing condition and will be sold as-is. It has that huge and free-blowing sound that early Mark VI tenors are known for. But, if you want a full mechanical overhaul (which we would recommend), feel free to contact us. Don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime horn and give it a home today!
