Looking for a five-digit Mark VI but don’t want to shell out the five-digit money? If so, you should give this horn some serious consideration. This horn has some serious punch and a nice, warm sound. There is also just enough resistance that you can push this horn but at the same time whisper. This is what makes the Mark VI such a dynamic and sought-after model of saxophone.
Physically, this horn is in great condition. There are a few minor dings throughout that will be removed. It has some very minor scratching in all the usual spots. It still has a majority of its original, European lacquer, which has a lighter color than American Mark VI’s. It also has no engraving like many Euro horns. This horn is on the short list to be rebuilt with brass domed resonators and Pisoni Pro pads.
This horn is a great opportunity for the serious saxophonist to bring their playing to the next level. The fact that this horn is going under fresh rebuild here at the shop will ensure many years of enjoyable playing for whoever decides to purchase this horn! This horn has the box style case but you can upgrade to a new model case if you desire.
