Here is a nice early six digit Selmer mark VI tenor. This horn sounds slightly dark, but not stuffy or overly resistant. There is plenty of power and punch.
This tenor recently was overhauled in our shop using domed brass resonators and Pisoni Pro pads. This horn is in remarkably good physical condition. There are no signs of any major dent work or solder joints. It came to us with no lacquer on the body or keys. It looks like an original that someone carefully stripped. The engraving is still sharp, not buffed out anywhere.
This horn is a great opportunity for the serious saxophonist to bring their playing to the next level. The fact that this horn just underwent a fresh rebuild here at the shop will ensure many years of playing for whoever decides to purchase it.
