Martin "Music Man" Committee III Tenor 214xxx
Here is a Martin “Music Man” tenor that dates back to 1962. This variation on “The Martin” was made in commemoration of the popular film based on the Broadway play. This particular horn is being sold as-is. There is a fair amount of lacquer wear and there are several solder repairs, most notably on the G and G# tone holes. There are also a few small dings and pops, but nothing major. This horn will ultimately need an overhaul but should be a really solid and fun playing tenor when complete. The ornate Martin engraving on the bell displays nicely and is one of the unique and desirable features of these horns.
This Martin will make a good project horn and is priced in consideration to the work that needs to be done.
