King Zephyr Series I Tenor Saxophone 209xxx
This is a King Zephyr tenor saxophone from the late 30s. This horn is all original lacquer and is incredible condition given its age. Over time this Zephyr’s lacquer has developed a gorgeous, dark honey-colored patina. On top of that, it was recently overhauled by another shop and has new pads. In terms of sound, this tenor is powerful and bright, but does not sacrifice any of its depth for edge. This is a fantastic sounding vintage horn, and once it gets set up at the shop, this horn will be a force to be reckoned with! (And for a fraction of the price of other vintage tenors…) Get it while you can!
