This Super 20 tenor is the real deal. It’s a major league player’s horn. It’s got all the power and punch that Kings are known for and then some. One of the great things about Super 20’s is that they really scream but they also can be absolutely exquisite in a soft ballad when played quietly. They have their own texture and color. This tenor has lost at least half of its lacquer which has really opened it up and it resonates like a madman. I love the way it looks but it would also be a perfect candidate for a Bare Naked Restoration if you’d prefer a more perfect finish. Hard to go wrong with this pro horn.
