This is a first series H.N. White King Super 20 Tenor Saxophone. This tenor was produced around 1948 with starburst engravings on the bell keys and pearl side keys. This tenor has an older pad job with hollywood resonators, but it will be set up before it leaves the shop. This tenor has original lacquer, but the body lacquer is stripped and most of the keys still are lacquered. Also, it has a sterling silver neck that is in great condition. It plays wonderfully and has a warm, but powerful tone. 298xxx serial number.
King Super 20s are known to be powerful horns, and that clearly is seen in this one. These are widely known saxophones and play wonderfully. Great for any player!
