This Artist’s Special gold-plated Conn New Wonder tenor is one gorgeous instrument. The gold plating is preserved beautifully and is burnished everywhere. The engraving, complete with a portrait of a beautiful woman on the bell, simply takes my breath away. Physically, this saxophone is in quite good condition. It was recently re-padded and the pads—which we sealed for longer life—are in great shape with button resonators. We have done a thorough setup and it’s ready to seduce you with its own special Conn sound. I just love the way these horns look and sound.
