This is a really nice Buescher “Big B” tenor. This horn is from 1950, which is towards the end of the “Big B” production. This horn is in really nice cosmetic condition and still has most of its original lacquer. The engraving on this horn displays beautifully and clearly which also adds to the overall appearance.
From a playing perspective, this horn is super fun to play. It has a really big sound and can handle any amount of air that you give it. It really speaks well in all registers of the horn and plays with a very lush and warm sound.
