“The response is very good for a metal mouthpiece. Intonation is very nice. The tone maintains a huge, fat sound that isn't too bright or edgy, into the extreme registers. The M1 is capable of more edge and carrying power, more presence and projection than the Link, and a much nicer subtone and overall response in the extreme registers of the horn. It also might have some more overtones in the sound. Altissimo especially pops out nicely.”
