This is a great example of a first lacquer Conn soprano. It would have initially come raw brass, then had a coat of lacquer put on it at a later time. It has the simple C.G. Conn LTD engraved on the bell, with no floral engraving. This horn is in great physical condition, with only a couple of minor dings in the body. There are no signs of any major body damage anywhere on the horn.
How does this horn play you ask? It has a big sound, even on old pads. They are nearing the end of their life, but you can still play it up and down with ease. It is currently in the never ending lineup to be overhauled. You can buy it as is, or get that custom overhaul you have always wanted to bring this soprano up to its full potential.
