This Yamaha oboe just came into the shop for sale and is in remarkable condition. The pads are near new. The corks and felts are all in good condition. It will get a thorough setup before leaving the shop.

The Yamaha 441 oboe is designed with the advancing student in mind. It features a new bore design from Yamaha, along with undercut tone holes. These result in an oboe with improved projection, tonal quality and intonation. The newly designed and handmade key system offers better balance for a more comfortable playing experience. The lower joint and bell are grenadilla, and the upper joint is plastic. This eliminates the possibility of the upper joint cracking.

The YOB-441 is made of the finest quality aged and seasoned grenadilla wood for a rich professional sound. This is the same material as used on Yamaha's Custom models and has been carefully crafted in a similar manner. The size and placement of the tone holes is also the same, giving even and accurate intonation and making the 441 a truly professional-sounding intermediate model.
