This is a great, one-owner Selmer SBA alto. It's an American-assembled horn and the serial numbers on both the body tube and neck match. It's the same vintage that Paul Desmond played and has that distinctive SBA core. It's a perfect lead alto - bright, bold and powerful with really fast action. It also has the original Selmer metal resonators that help give it an extra kick. This horn has been played a lot and has been well taken care of. No dents. No re-solders. No pull down on the neck. It was relacquered at some point but was done extremely well given how sharp the engraving is. I believe it was done at the factory. It's a solid horn and a serious player.
