This is a Selmer Mk VII Alto Saxophone. It has a fantastic tone quality along with a dark and warm sound. This horn plays wonderfully and has a ton of potential! This saxophone was made in 1976 with a serial number 243xxx. The lacquer is very worn on the front side of the saxophone, but most of it is in great condition on the back. This Mk VII has an American engraving on it, which many don’t. Also, it has a sound very similar to the late Selmer Mk VI altos. This saxophone is wonderful and amazing!
