Here is a great example of a late Mark VI alto. This horn just came in the shop and is in good condition. There is a fair amount of scratching and minor lacquer wear. There were a couple of guard feet that were re-soldered nicely.
This alto was recently overhauled in another shop using our brass domed resonators. We will go through it before it leave the shop ensuring years of playability.
Altos in this vintage are among my favorites. These horns are known for their nice warm sounds and quick response. This will be a great horn for the serious saxophonist!
