Selmer Euro Mark VI Alto Saxophone 178xxx
This is a great, later serial numbered European Mark VI alto. It is in great physical condition. There are no signs of any major dents or any damage to the horn. There is some minor lacquer wear on the bottom bow, the sides of the neck, and in the usual places. The original lacquer has a wonderful, two toned patina on the body, and the Euro engraving is in marvelous condition.
This horn was recently rebuilt by another shop using Music Medic pads and AB brass domed resonators, so this horn is setup and ready to go!
Altos in this vintage are among my favorites. This alto has a nice warm sound and is very quick responding. If you put a jazz mouthpiece on it, it will keep up in any big band setting!
