This is a Selmer Balanced Action alto saxophone from 1938. The lacquer is 85% original and the bell features a lake front cabin engraving. Apart from a few small dings and a re-solder joint on the low Eb guard, this horn is in excellent physical condition. It also has almost all of the original resonators. It plays pretty well, and even with its old pad job, it still has that vintage balanced action sound. This horn includes a newer Selmer Vanguard Case with its matching case cover. If you are interested in an overhaul, contact us and we will package that with the horn.
