If you are looking for a player that you don’t have to worry about, this is the alto for you. It has a big sound with a fair amount of punch. It would make a great alto to take out on any gig.
The pad job on this horn is older, but still has a fair amount of life left in it. We just finished going through the horn and setting it up. It was padded with flat riveted resonators. There were a few small dings throughout the horn which have been removed. There is no sign of any major damage or any solder joints. Just a lot of honest wear!
