Here is a very unique and rare transitional Conn alto saxophone in original nickel plate. This horn is essential a 6M and has the same key work, double-socket neck with underslung octave mechanism and body. The key work is mostly the same with the one difference being in the left pinky table keys, which are more in the style of the New Wonder II model. The bell has the “Made by C.G. Conn” stamp.
This horn is playing well on a previous overhaul. We will go through the alto and set it up before it leaves the shop. It has years of playing left in the pads.
Vintage Conn altos are very desirable for their rich, warm and colorful sound. Don’t let this one pass you by!
