Just in the shop is a beautiful silver plated Conn Transitional alto. It is near the end of Transitional model right before the full 6M.
This horn has all the key work of a 6M and the Naked Lady engraving. It has the micro tuner neck that is functioning flawlessly. There are no dents or ugly solder joints on this horn. The plating is in excellent condition with minor wear.
The alto received a mechanical overhaul from Sax Alley a few years back and has not had a lot of playing time on it since. It recently went through a complete cleaning, polishing, and setup putting it in great cosmetic and playing condition. There is still plenty of life left on this horn before any major work will need to be done.
This alto has a big, rich, full sound!
