Buescher New Aristocrat Alto 263xxx
This is a really nice silver plated Buescher Alto Saxophone that dates back to 1932. This places the horn at the end of the true tone run and the beginning of the Aristocrat run. This horn is definitely a great representation of a transitional model, as it has characteristics of both a true tone (such as the true-tone stamp by the thumb rest) and of an aristocrat (such as the art-deco aristocrat engraving). This horn also boasts the rare and coveted two star stamped neck. This horn also has the original pad snaps which add to the originality.
This horn is being sold as-is and will need a full mechanical overhaul to play at optimal performance. This horn will also be sold in the original case, which is in exceptional condition for its age.
