Brilhart Great Neck, NY 3* Alto Saxophone Mouthpiece

Here is a rare ‘Designed by Arnold Brilhart’ Great Neck, NY 3* hard rubber alto saxophone mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is all original and in great shape for its age. There are some surface blemishes, scuffs and scratches, but these are to be expected for a mouthpiece that is 80 years old. The tip, table and rails are all in good shape, with only a few small nicks that do not affect the playability. These mouthpieces are known for having large chambers that are similar to vintage Otto Links. This gives this piece a very warm and lush old-school sound. The serial number on this mouthpiece dates it to 1940 and the first Brilhart production.

This is a great playing Brilhart, perfect for the Brilhart collector/enthusiast or serious player looking for a really great vintage sound. These do not come around to often!
