Vandoren V5 series ebonite mouthpieces feature a flat baffle, small round bore, normal and jazz chambers. With an astoundingly pure tone, evenness of sound in all registers from the low notes to the high, incomparable richness of sound and an extensive range of colors, these mouthpieces are perfect for classical and jazz musicians and students.  (Tip 206 / Facing - Medium Long.)

It is reed-friendly, playable in every register, easy to control, has great intonation and is playable at all dynamic levels. The V5 series jazz mouthpiece gives the most traditional sound of the Vandoren ebonite mouthpieces. The mouthpieces find favor amongst stage band players and are also utilized in concert bands and sax quartets. It is a great all-around playing mouthpiece.
